Brand You Personal Branding

Josh Finley is my longtime friend and one of the wisest people I know. We meet when we were teenagers, but our paths continued to cross throughout young adulthood. Like me, Josh has been involved in ministry and made some significant shifts in his career over the years. I invited him to come onto the show this week to talk about spiritual things. I really wanted to take a breather from the intense interviews we’ve been having and just have a conversation with this great friend. Josh is one of the best communicators and leaders there are, so you’ll love our discussion. In it, we talk about:

  1. Relationships that survive the test of time
  2. Reflecting back on life
  3. Feeling like you’re falling behind in life
  4. How Josh has redefined some terms and gotten more comfortable with tension
  5. Identifying and unpacking our brokenness
  6. What real authenticity looks like

Steve Werner is my friend and fellow wanderlust. Whenever we talk, we have an incredible conversation. When Steve left his corporate job years ago, he realized he was free to go wherever and do whatever he wanted, so he got into the live events space. He is now the live and virtual event king. Steve is chock-full of wisdom when it comes to making more money with high-ticket offers and other digital marketing tactics. Today we’re having a conversation on how to apply those strategies—specifically when running webinars. Some of the things Steve teaches us are:

  1. How he helps his clients sell their high-ticket offers
  2. How to organize a high-converting live event
  3. The best process for stage closing
  4. The minimum requirements for a high-ticket event
  5. How to transition from a live stage to a webinar (or vise-versa)
  6. Why pre-framing is the key to getting people to show up to your webinar
  7. A good webinar should have about 50 stories
  8. When to get to your pitch in a webinar

Amira Alvarez is the founder and CEO of The Unstoppable Woman. She coaches entrepreneurs in all fields and helps them achieve their goals in record time. Amira has made incredible quantum leaps in her business, but it wasn’t always that way. For a time, she was making incremental progress but ultimately getting the same results. It wasn’t until she learned what caused her to stop when faced with resistance and overcame that mindset that she grew. I teach a lot of heady concepts on the podcast, but it’s also important to listen to your gut. Amira coaches business owners to do just that by challenging themselves and their mindsets. Tune in to hear:

  1. Where the idea for The Unstoppable Woman came from
  2. How to discover what’s stopping you from growing
  3. What to focus on when you’re starting your personal brand
  4. How to put yourself in a place that gives you leverage
  5. The quantum investments that might get you in trouble but also might launch you into a quantum leap
  6. How to make gut decisions
  7. How to close the gap between who you know you are and what your business is telling you that you have
